Master Tesfatsion is an award-winning journalist, host, and producer with over 13 years of experience in sports media. He began his career covering the NFL for The Washington Post and Bleacher Report, where his insightful storytelling and cultural perspective earned him national recognition.

In 2022, Tesfatsion transitioned his focus to global soccer, using his first-generation Eritrean-American lens to explore the sport’s cultural growth in the U.S. and its worldwide influence. His work spans multiple roles — from studio hosting and analysis to social media correspondence, betting analysis, and field reporting — appearing across major networks including CBS Sports, DAZN, Warner Bros. Discovery, and OffBall.

Most recently, he served as a broadcast reporter for DAZN’s global coverage of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Beyond journalism, Tesfatsion is the CEO and Founder of Masterpiece Productions Inc., a Los Angeles–based sports and film production company dedicated to creating culturally resonant storytelling across sports and entertainment.
